Donald Stoppenhagen's Obituary
Donald Stoppenhagen, 82, of New Haven, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Cleveland, OH he was the son of the late Fred and Frieda Stoppenhagen. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Army. Don retired as chief clerk for the Ft. Wayne Division of NIPSCO after 42 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maxine; daughter, Karen Rogers of New Haven; grandson, Matthew (Stefanie) Rogers of Fort Wayne; and sister, Janet Stoppenhagen of Fort Wayne.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. Rev. Steven Ensley officiating. Preferred memorials are to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
