Donald H. Stellhorn's Obituary
Donald H. Stellhorn, 87, of New Haven was called home, Saturday, December 21, 2013 with his loving family at his side. Born in Milan Twp., he was the son of the late Herbert and Hilda (Hemsoth) Stellhorn. He was a lifetime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and a longtime member of the St. Peter's Men's Club and Choir. He was a proud WW II veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired in 1982 after 42 years with the Zollner Corp.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Rose; daughters: Cynthia (Alvin) Bolinger of New Haven and Deborah K. (Ronald) Rogers of Ft. Wayne; six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Stellhorn and sister, Loraine Elwood.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling is also 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial with military honors is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Bldg. Fund.
