Donald C Bubb's Obituary
Donald C. Bubb, 88, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Andrew and Agnes (Smith) Bubb. He was a member of St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, and proudly served his country during WWII in the Navy. Donald was a purchasing agent for Shambaugh & Son of Fort Wayne for 22 years where he retired in 1989. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, reading, and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 67years, Hilda; children, Andrew (Nancy) Bubb of Harlan, David (Joyce) Bubb of Sycamore, IL, John (Pam) Bubb and Laurie (Dan) Flint of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Jo Seemeyer of Sun City, Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Yontz, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, 11337 S. US Hwy 27, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Father William J. Kummer officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with a rosary service at 4 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Hessen Cassel Food Bank, Parkview Hospice, or masses.
