Don L Girardot's Obituary
Don L. Girardot, 72, of Elkhart, formerly of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Center for Hospice, Elkhart. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Donald and Joan (Bartels) Girardot. He was a sales representative for Mercury Outboard Motors. He later started his own business Sportland Marine in Fort Wayne. Don enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and following sports. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dawn Harmon; children, Tania (Rob Norris) Colderbank, Derek (Laura Miles) Colderbank, and Stephanie “Stevie” Bledsoe; siblings, Darvin and Marcia Girardot; grandchildren, Trestin, Camden, and Cayden Bledsoe. Funeral service is 2 pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation from one hour prior (1-2pm). Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
