Dolores A. "Dolly" Ehinger's Obituary
Dolores A. "Dolly" Ehinger, 87, of New Haven, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Rumschlag) Geels. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, the Holy Name Society, American Legion Post 330 Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Post 2457 Auxiliary.
Dolly is survived by her sons, Kenneth R. (Kathy) Ehinger of Portland, OR, Edward A. (Sue) Ehinger of Roanoke, Ronald J. (Donna) Ehinger of Monroeville; sister, SR. Carol Geels of Fond du Lac, WI; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Ehinger in 2010 and siblings; Carl Geels, Naomi Alles and Vera Johnson.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. Fr. Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a wake service to be held at 3:45p.m. Burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
