Diane Kay Hook's Obituary
Diane Kay Hook, 78, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Irene (Witte) McHenry Sr. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She worked for Wells Fargo for several years. She enjoyed being at the lake, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Nancy) Hook and Todd (Gloria) Hook; siblings, Dan (Joan) McHenry, Dave (Jeanne) McHenry, Gord (Nancy) McHenry, Doug (Renee) McHenry, Dennis (Angie) McHenry, and Sue (Denny) Klotz; grandchildren, Zachary (Shantel) Hook, Tanner (Paige) Hook, Mikeala (Evan) Denney) Denney, Colten Hook, and J.T. Hook; great grandson, Theodore and Memphis Hook; and many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Michael in 2020; and granddaughter, Cassandra Hook.
Graveside service is 11 am Monday, September 22, 2025, at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Edgerton Rd. West of Doyle Rd., New Haven. Visitation is 1 to 4 pm Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
