Diane Christine Dale's Obituary
On Sunday June 4, 2023, Diane Dale, loving wife, mother, stepmother, and sister passed away at the age of 65. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Diane was born on February 24, 1958, in New Haven, Indiana to Herrold and Jean (Sawyer) Quandt. Diane graduated from Central Lutheran Grade School and New Haven High School. She worked for many years at Lincoln National Life Insurance company.
Diane was married to Bob Dale in 1998. Bob, who passed away in October 2022, was the love of Diane’s life. Together they shared many joys, especially with Christopher, Diane's beloved son and Bob’s children Michael, Michelle, and Craig. Diane adored her eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, all who survived her. Diane is also survived by her sisters Sandra (Michael) Perrine, Beverly (William) Roberts, Joanna Quandt, and Mary Quandt and her brother, Herrold “Harry” (Donna) Quandt.
Diane and Bob shared a deep faith in the Lord and were active members of Faith Baptist Church. Diane and Bob could be found most evenings walking their beloved dog, Belle, in their neighborhood while frequently stopping to talk with neighbors and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her father and mother, Herrold and Jean Quandt, and her brother, David, and her husband, Bob.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior.
