Denise L. Schuckel's Obituary
Denise L. Schuckel, 69, of New Haven, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Parkview Hospital – Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in St. Paul, MN, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She was also a member of American Legion Post 330 Ladies Auxiliary. Denise retired in 2005 from Do It Best Corporation after 18 years of service.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dan; children, David (Jill) Schuckel and Diane (Steve) Rorick both of New Haven; mother, Cordella Lantz of New Haven; and sisters, Bonnie (Herman) Schnelker of Woodburn, Linda Hilton of New Haven, Kathy (Tim) Holt of Fort Wayne, and Barbara (Tom) Lewis and Loretta Hitch both of California; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Scharffbillig.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling 1/2 hour prior. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with a vigil at 3:45 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
