Deborah "Deb" Colleen Freeman's Obituary
Deborah "Deb" Colleen Freeman, 69, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at home with her family and good friends by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Betty (Hines) Bakalar. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She retired in 2011 from Kroger with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed camping, fishing in southern Indiana, and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, friends, and her beloved dogs, Gator and Chase. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Winfield Freeman; children, Jason (Faith) Freeman and Lorie (Brent) Dwyer; brothers, Ron (Rita) and Don (Brenda) Bakalar; and grandchildren, Delaney and Cohen Creason and Ethan and Naomi Dwyer. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St, New Haven with visitation one and a half hour prior.
