DeeDee was my oldest.... and undoubetdly our most fun cousin! She had a smile that would light up a room, a laugh that would make you all want to join in and a twinkle in her eye that always made you wonder what was up next! She was our leader, our tour guide of the BSU campus when we visited Grandma & Grandpa in Muncie, our planner and our sweet entertainer! She took pride in her role of eldest of the Baldwin grandkids and played it well! Her middle name was in honor of my Mom, Doris Ellen Baldwin Hay~ Rest in Peace sweet Dee!
Dee was the oldest child of our generation and as such was not only the shining example for the rest of us but the child on whom all the adults showered pride and adoration at her accomplishments. I distinctly remember when she was accepted at Ball State. It was her mother's, Dad's, Aunts' and Uncle's alma mater and they and her grandparents were so proud. We all were.
