David Edward Sitko's Obituary
David Edward Sitko, 62, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Edward, who survives, and the late Grace (Deaton) Sitko. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church - Hessen Cassel, Fort Wayne. He was employed with Votaw Electric for 33 years. David enjoyed camping, visiting national parks, his 1970 Chevelle, going to car shows, NASCAR, Notre Dame football, and most importantly spending time with his family, and storytelling.
He is also survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rhonda; proud father of his children, Kurt (Abi), Eric (Casey), and Jacob (Brandi) Sitko; sister, Kathy (David) Wyss; and ten grandchildren, Sam, Hayden, Henry, Evelyn, Colton, Levi, Gracelyn, Hadley, Madilyn, and June. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Phyllis and Don Wilson.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 am Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Hessen Cassel, 11337 US-27, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 7:30 pm. Burial in the church cemetery.
