David R Franklin's Obituary
David R. Franklin, 65, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, unexpectedly at his residence.in Woodburn. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Richard and Mary Lou (Jones) Franklin. He retired after 34 years with Office Concepts, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed following the Colts and I.U. Basketball, but he especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Stephanie (Jared) Rorick, and Suzanne Brooks; siblings, Sheryl Longardner, Lisa (Pat) Jones, Karen (Robert) Bowling, Darren Franklin, and Denny Franklin; grandchildren, Layne and Lucas Brooks, and Stella and Adalyn Rorick. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Franklin. Memorial service is 6 p.m. Wednesday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Humane Society of Allen County.
