Dear Yost Family: I was so blessed to have the opportunity to work with Daryl during my Taylor University career. Daryl hired me in 1985 and I still remember his being named Acting President within two weeks of my hiring. He mentored me and helped direct me to challenging positions at the University. His counsel and insight was always appreciated. He helped me to step into new positions and I am forever grateful. His desire to please the Lord and to be faithful in what God had called him to do was so apparent to me. Larry and I saw Daryl off and on after our retirement and we always enjoyed catching up with each other at the FEC Annual Conferences we attended. His work ethic and commitment to helping others was outstanding. Larry and I are so grateful to God for our friendship with Daryl. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.--Larry and Joyce Helyer, Mt. Juliet, TN
Dear Kay I am so sorry for your loss. This world has lost a wonderful human being but heaven gained a special angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I was fortunate to get to know grandpa Daryl by being two of his granddaughter's volleyball coach at Bluffton University. Daryl was such a positive and kind soul who was very proud to support and watch his grandchildren grow as people. It was good to get to talk with him and reconnect with him. What a legacy Daryl left! Many hugs and prayers to the family.

I first met Daryl while we both served on the board at Turnstone. He was so very kind to me from that day onward, never failing to smile and ask about my family while seemingly hanging on my every word. The more I got to know Daryl, the more impressed i was with his energy and true compassion for others. What an amazing world we would live in if half of us did as much for our community as Daryl consistently did for his! I miss him very much already. His was a life well lived.
BILL AND PAT ANTHIS EXTEND CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.
Daryl was a kind and generous man. He always showed genuine interest in my growth, both personally and professionally. He will be dearly missed. My sincerest sympathies. Jennifer Neher Sommers
