Dale "Richard" Goings' Obituary
Dale "Richard" Goings, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Columbia City, he was the son of the late Ivan and Dorothy Goings. He was a member of Grace Gathering, New Haven. He retired in 1997 from Schneider National Carriers after ten years. He was also a member of Scottish Rite and Masonic Lodge 189, Columbia City.
He is survived by his wife, Janis; children, Richard Allen Goings of Columbia City, Cindy (Steve) Evans of Corpus Christi, TX and Debbie (Tom) Goodrich of Albion; siblings, Roscoe (Ann) Goings and Rex (Adonna) Goings both of South Whitley, and Ruth (Richard) Malcolm of Butler; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Dan Brusco officiating. Calling is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 4 p.m. Burial is in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Grace Gathering, New Haven.
