Dale E. Bricker, Sr.'s Obituary
Dale E. Bricker Sr, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Charles and Beulah (Lehman) Bricker. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean war and was a past member of VFW Howard Bandelier Post 2457. He retired from Slater Steel with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. An avid sports fan, he cheered on the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Reds, and enjoyed coaching baseball. He is survived by his children, Kathy (Steve) Farrier, Dale (Sallie) Bricker, Jr, Kevin Bricker, Susan (John) Maag, Mark Bricker, Tina Jensen, Keith (Cindy) Bricker, and Jeff (Carrie) Bricker; daughter-in-law, Jeannine Bricker; 19 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wives, Marilyn (Eisenhut) Bricker in 1990 and Barbara (Proctor) Bricker in 2007; son, Steve Bricker; daughter-in-law, Mary Bricker; grandson, Mitchel Jensen; two sisters; and one brother. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior.
