Daisy Boyle's Obituary
Daisy Rosana "Rosie" Boyle, 89, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away early Saturday morning, January 24, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, IN, on October 24, 1925, she was one of ten children born to Charles and Martha (Slack) Thomas. She was employed by General Electric early in her career and retired from Strataflo Products where she was a bookkeeper in the office. She married Frank E. Boyle on November 27, 1949, and they had four children. Rosie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and leaves a legacy of unconditional love. She was a fun loving individual who loved playing card games and dominos and any activity involving her family, who were truly her greatest priority. She was an avid reader and loved doing word find puzzles. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Rosie is survived by her children: Edward (Cynthia) Boyle of Findlay, OH; Steven (Janette) Boyle of Belvidere, IL; Carol (Ralph) Richey and Janet (Greg) Stansifer, both of Fort Wayne, IN; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Lloyd Thomas and a sister, Gertrude Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and 7 other siblings.
Funeral service is at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Harper E. & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, IN with calling from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Town House Retirement Center Chapel Offering, Fort Wayne .
