Cynthia J. "Cindy" Conley, 62, of New Haven, passed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, August 8, 2012 with her loving family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Maxine (Detamore) Patterson. S Read Obituary
Cindy.... Your zest and spark for life has always been contagious. Since our early 20's you and Mike have become forever friends in The Lord! I am thankful God let our paths cross so early in our lives and to Journey in both our high's and Low's.... It was a joy to see you in Illinois and share our laughter, hugs, stories , and faith with you and family..... We will Meet Again! Dan

R.I.P. Cindy Conley - She was one of coolest mothers I could have ever met. I remember sitting with her son Casey on numerous occasions just watching their little 15" TV that was in the kitchen. There would be times when I would have to wait for Casey to comedown stairs and would just sit and talk with Cindy for 10 or 15 minutes about what we were getting into that evening. She would always have a smile on her face, and was always making sure we were staying out of trouble. She would always offer me snacks and leftovers just because that's what mothers do. She was always interested in how my kids were doing, and how life in general was going. Cindy, you left this life way too early, and I am greatly honored to have known you.
I remember the family gatherings at "Mam Karriger's" house in Van Buren, Indiana. Cindy was usually there and we had great times together. Cindy and Mike were usually at my Mother's, Peggy Porter's, gatherings of all the family for her "unbirthday". She was a favorite cousin, a great mother and Christian. After our loved ones pass we continue to remember them and their love. Even though we in time may love another, our first love lives on forever. Mike you have a wonderful treasury of memories. Cindy and her family sat in front of us at Komet Hockey games in the 90's. We were all season ticket holders. We enjoyed watching the games with the family, and getting to know them. Chad and Jill, watching Caleb grow up. Cindy was a fantastic lady and will be missed. God bless to the family.

Dear Conley Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. Cindy was the best babysitter ever. We have so many fond memories of the girls staying with Cindy from potty training to watching the Big Comfy Couch. The girls remember eating raw rhubarb, watching Fletcher dance, coloring the animal crackers and the "Don't step on the crack" game on the front porch. She always had a smile and was a very important part of Rose and Brooke's childhood. She will be missed. We will keep your family in our prayers and look forward to seeing Cindy again some day in Heaven.

Your mom was an amazing woman: good-hearted, full of kindness, and so welcoming. She was always so friendly when she would come to school events when we were younger, and always took interest the well being of everyone as we got older. She took great care of my brother and sister and they loved getting up and "going to Cindy's" each morning.
May the Lord be with you and give you peace during this difficult time.
