Cleo V. Dunscombe Werling's Obituary
Cleo V. Dunscombe Werling, 94, of Hoagland, formerly of Fort Wayne went to her eternal reward Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Peru, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mable Butt. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. She retired in 1982 from L.S. Ayres after 10 years of service. She was a homemaker, and a loving mother.
Cleo is survived by her children, Miles G. (Molly), Daniel A., Ruth E. (Tom), Shirley A. (Marvin), Marie A. ; step-daughter, Rochelle (Jim); Brother, Douglas M. Butt of Swanquarter, NC; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Miles Dunscombe, Sr. in 1965 and George Werling in 1998; and siblings, Alice Robinson, Harriet Dice, Dorothy Bullick, and Arthur Butt.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Dr. William Deans officiating. Calling will also be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to 1st Baptist Church, Fort Wayne, Hoagland Community Church of Hoagland, Southern Care Hospice, or Village of Heritage, Monroeville.
