Clarence "Clancy" Seitz's Obituary
Clarence “Clancy” E. Seitz, 88, of New Haven, passed away suddenly Friday, May 20, 2016, at his residence. Born in Evansville he was the son of the late Frank and Celia (Kruse) Seitz. He was a self-employed manufactures rep. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Army. Clancy was a member of Orchard Ridge Country Club and was greens chairman for 20 years. He enjoyed playing poker, golf, and grooming his lawn. He especially loved his step-grandchildren.
He is survived by his sister, Joann Fountaine of Del Ray, FL; Stepson, Dr. Thomas (Helen) Smith of Fort Wayne and Step-daughters, Leslie (Harold) DeVaux of Fort Wayne, and Janice (Jim) Jamison of Noblesville; and 7 grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann (Bricker) Seitz; brother William Seitz; and step-grandson, Trey, Hollcomb in April.
Services are at the convenience of the family. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
