Clairetta M. Nuttle's Obituary
Clairetta M. Nuttle, 89, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel (Worman) Mettert. She was a past member of Church of God, Fort Wayne. Among her many loves were baking cookies, spending time at the lake, family gatherings, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Owen; sons, Jim (Sandy) Nuttle of New Haven, David (Mary) and Gerald (Marilyn) Nuttle both of Spencerville, Donald (Laurie) Nuttle of Fort Wayne; siblings, Donald (Mona) Mettert and Helen Archbold both of Fort Wayne, Thomas (Lottie) Mettert of Osage, MN, ten grandchildren, Laurie, JoLynn (Jason), Dawn (Ben), Donald (Tera), Beth (Tyler), Chad, Jamison (Trina), Brian (Nikki), Kenny, and Teresa; 23 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael; grandson, Owen Nuttle; and brothers, Henry, Robert, and Raymond Mettert.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Ross Osborn and Pastor Lloyd Harlan officiating. Calling also 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
