Cheryl Lynn Hammond's Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Hammond, 64, of Woodburn, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at home. Born in Fort Wayne on August 26, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Don and Gladys (Bosselman) Hoeppner. She was a lifelong Indiana Hoosiers fan, a dedicated, faithful, and loving wife, mom, grammy, and friend to many in the Woodburn Community.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary of Woodburn; sons, Trent (Ashley) of Hicksville, OH and Trevor (Kim) of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Owen, Brynn, Ailsa, Liberty, Joshua, Justina, and Jayden; siblings, Connie (Rick) Smith, Christine (Todd) Klopfenstein, Steve (Sally) Hoeppner, and Matt Hoeppner; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St, Woodburn with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the church. Burial in the church cemetery.
