Charles D. Peters' Obituary
Charles D. Peters, 66, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Renaissance Village, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late William and Ida (Ehle) Peters. He was employed with BF Goodrich, Woodburn for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching westerns.
He is survived by his sons, Jameson Peters of Huntington, Jason (Erica) Peters of Auburn, and Logan (Rockelle) Peters of Hamilton; siblings, Keith (Kathy) Peters of New Haven, Jean Smith of Auburn, and Connie (Steve) Hazelrigg of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Alexis and Westin Peters; and step-mother, Betty (Bullerman) Peters. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Brooke Peters in 2009; and brother-in-law, Donald Smith.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Jeff Alexander officiating. Calling is also 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials to Huntington County Special Olympics.
