Cecile Sylvia Savard's Obituary
Cecile Sylvia Savard, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Didace and Sylvia (Bobo) Dupuis. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne and was a member of the Blue Army Rosary Sodality. She volunteered at local food pantries and enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, and the outdoors. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Savard, Chantal (Richard) Trent, Nathalie Savard, and Marise (Doyle) Kizer; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; numerous extended family members in Quebec. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jean-Guy in 2005; siblings, Gabriel Dupuis, Lucille Millette, and Maurice Dupuis; and grandson, Michael Savard in 2022.
Mass of Christian Burial is 9 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at St. Henry Catholic Church, 2929 E. Paulding Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Visitation is also 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
