Cecile K. Ladig's Obituary
Cecile K. Ladig, 77, passed away on October 3, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, after losing a 17 month battle with cancer. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Petry) Jacquay. She was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven. Cecile, retired in 1998 from Sheller Globe, Grabill with over 24 years of service.
She is survived by her children; JoAnn Ladig, Rebecca (Rick) Krauter of Woodburn, Franklin (Sue) Ladig of New Haven, Edwin Ladig, and Andrew (Robin) Ladig of Zephyrhills, FL, brother; Gerald (Linda) Jacquay of New Haven; sister in laws, Joyce Jacquay, who was "like a sister" of Auburn, and Pat Ladig of New Haven. 12 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard Ladig, who she married October 15, 1955; son, Daniel Ladig; brothers, Russell and his wife Pearl, and W. Howard Jacquay.
Funeral Service is 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy. East, New Haven with calling one hour prior. Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Calling is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to masses or Turnstone Center for Children
