An angel was among us and life will never be the same. Being her granddaughter was one of my life's favorite roles. After being adopted from a children's home as a child, she went on to foster 23 babies. Devoted wife, mother, caretaker- she had a way of making people smile. She often said, "we love to laugh don't we?!" She taught me to play poker, baked butterscotch pies and we always split a piece of gum during the sermon at church. I hope the memories stay with me always. Sunny Catherine, her namesake, will grow up hearing all about this amazing woman.
