Carolyn J Nieter's Obituary
Carolyn J. Nieter, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Young) Zink. She was a past member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She enjoyed baking, bird watching, and spending time in her flower garden. Carolyn especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Marsha (Michael Temple) Seemann and Roger (Debbie) Nieter; grandchildren, Samantha (Jon) Lemmon, Casey (Tasia) Deleon, Hope Nieter, Marissa Nieter, Holly Nieter, and Brock Nieter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Nieter in 2020; and brother, Wayne Zink in 2004. Funeral service is 7 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (5-7pm).
