Carole Ann TenBarge's Obituary
Carole Ann TenBarge, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Schnelker) Bowers. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. Over the years she had worked at the Memorial Coliseum, LS Ayres, and Bell Telephone. She was also a member of the Marine Corp League Auxiliary and volunteered at Saint Anne Home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their games and show choir performances. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Keri) TenBarge, Laura (Adam) Dressler, Michelle (Jeff) Doan, and Jason TenBarge; siblings, Jerry (MaryAnn) Bowers, Elaine Bowers, Delores (Phil) Cler, and Jane (Rick) Ervin; brother-in-law, Terry Skiles; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert TenBarge in 1988; and sister, Marjorie Skiles. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 am Friday, October 14, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St. New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930, New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Shepherd’s House.
