Carol J. Wietfeldt's Obituary
Carol J. Wietfeldt, 55, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a member of Martini Lutheran Church, New Haven. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She lived at home until 2011. She enjoyed life and loved her family very much. She was loved by all she touched throughout her life; and was a blessing to everyone. She will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by her father, Fred "Fritz" Wietfeldt; siblings, Dennis (Irma) Wietfeldt, Michael (Kim) Wietfeldt, Nila (Duane) Widenhoefer, and Marilyn Jackson; 12 nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Wietfeldt (nee. Bradtmueller).
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Martini Lutheran Church, 333 Moeller Rd., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Matt Kohl officiating. Calling is also 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Martini Lutheran Church or Easter Seals Arc of Northeast Indiana, 4919 Coldwater Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
