Carol Ann Jennings' Obituary
Carol Jennings, 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at St. Anne Home & Retirement Community, Fort Wayne. Born in Huntington, IN, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Rose (Bauer) Petre. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, where she was a member of the Rosary Sodality. Carol was an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, canning, bowling, and camping. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Phil (Judy) Jennings of Butler, Tony (Holly) Jennings and Pam (Frank) Freeman both of Fort Wayne, Angie Pritchard of New Haven and Marta (Rob) Schebler of Batesville; sister, Connie (Dennis) Kaylor of Huntington; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Jennings; brother, Michael Petre; infant daughter, Kimberly Kay Jennings.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a 4 p.m. Vigil. Burial in the church cemetery.
