Burnadean "Bernie" Humbarger's Obituary
Burnadean "Bernie" Humbarger, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at home with her family by her side. Born in Van, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Guss and Arminda (Stidhan) Adams. She had worked for General Electric, International Harvester, and Bowmar. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She achieved pro-status as a shuffleboard player and was in a bowling league for several years. She also enjoyed sewing, shopping, and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Cathie) Humbarger and Rhonda (Steve) Robinson; stepdaughter, Regina (Tom) Kosher; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Charles "Rex" Humbarger in 2011; four sisters; three brothers; and one great grandchild.
Funeral service is 11 am Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (9 to 11 am).
