You are missed here in Quincy, and know we praying for your safe return.
There are no limits to the memories that I (we, my wife Kay) have with Bud "BG". Beginning when we were in fourth grade at Logan Middle School continuing through our teen years. Into adults. Bud dated several of Kay's class mates and we spent many many happy times together. One place where we spent a lot of time was at "Greenmans' Cabin". He was our "crazy" friend and would do anything in the world for you. Example taking their VW Van with barn door on top to sit on in the infield of Indy 500, waiting in line 2 - 3 days. What a sunburn we all had. owwww Rolling his mom's 53 Dodge over on it's side with Tex and Dave Crane helping to push it back over. Most of these memories are "you had to be there to really appreciate it" stories.
Karen was a wonderful blessing in Bud's life and I am thankful for the years they had together.
I will always be grateful for the time Tex Willison, Dave Roberts, Willie Dicken, Gary Glaspell and I went to IN. for my last visit with my dear buddy that I will forever hold close in my heart. Love you Bud
The memories previously post from "Kay" should have been "Roger Emerick"
Kris & family,
I am so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. I have many fond memories from middle school, high school and college of spending time with Bud and your Mom. I pray that the memories of happy times will be a comfort to all of you.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers~! XO
