Bruce N. Gardner's Obituary
Bruce Nelson Gardner, 91, of New Haven, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born on December 16, 1933, in Willard, Ohio, he was the son of the late Durward and Mildred (Seiple) Gardner. He married Shirley M. Posekany on February 15, 1958, who survives. He was a member of East Allen County Church of Christ, New Haven. After graduating high school, he served his country in the US Army from 1953-1956 and was stationed in Berlin, Germany. He worked at American Machine and Foundry in Shelby, Ohio for five years, and went on to work for Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in Willard Ohio, retiring as a mechanical supervisor from Norfolk Western Southern Railroads in Bellevue, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana after 38 years in the industry.
He is also survived by his children, Duane Gardner and Elaine Louden; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Edward; siblings, Durward Wayne (Billie) and Glenn (Yvonne) Gardner, and Gretchen Hock; and son-in-law, Alan Louden.
