Brian "Moose" Thomas Mettert's Obituary
Brian "Moose" Mettert, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16, 2022, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Jack and Jeanne (Brunskill) Mettert. He retired in 2021 from WaterFurnace Inc, Fort Wayne with over 30 years. Generous and fun loving, he enjoyed softball, golf, bowling, and weekends at the lake. He was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Bears, LA Dodgers, Lakers, NY Rangers, and IU. He is survived by his siblings, Kelly (Cathy) Mettert of New Haven, Michael (Lisa) Mettert of Indianapolis, and Teri (Tom) Voglewede of Matthews, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lee Sanga. No service. Visitation is 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022 at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
