Boyd "Clete" Williams' Obituary
Clete Boyd Williams, 67, of Fort Wayne, recently relocated to Murray, KY passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his home unexpectedly. Born in Corbin, KY he was the son of the late Lloyd and Minerva Williams. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. The US Army veteran served his country in Vietnam and was a member of VFW Post 3846, Churubusco and American Legion Post 157, Churubusco. He was the owner and operator of Wilmac Construction. He was a loving father and grandfather, loved his motorcycles and animals, and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by children, Douglas (Sonja) Warren of Knoxville, TN, Carol (Jerry) Warren Collins of Noblesville, Sandra (Mike) Warren Statz of Livermore, CA, Christa (Doug) Warren Teeple of Fort Wayne, and Laurie (Dan) Warren McKenzie of Woodburn; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren, loving companion, Jennifer Watson, and her daughters, Felicia and Tiara of Murray, KY, and his beloved dogs, Buster and Lily. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret in 2008; and siblings, McCoy "Coy" Williams, Marie Raines, and Sally Wethington.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 7914 W. Cook Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior and military honors to follow service. Pastor Ralph Easterhaus officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven.
