Bonnie J Roth's Obituary
Bonnie Roth, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Arbor Glen Assisted Living, Fort Wayne, after living there for 4 years. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Arvelle and Iona (Werkman) Roth. She was a salesclerk at Catherines Women’s Clothing, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed participating in local bowling leagues and received several trophies. Her real passion was cooking and testing out new recipes. She had quite a library of cookbooks in her collection. Her favorite season was Christmas when she would begin cooking numerous cookies and candies a month ahead of time. Bonnie had a keen sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. She especially loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Jerrell “Jerry” Roth; grandchildren, Melissa (Daniel) Lothamer of New Haven, and twins Matthew (Cassandra) Roth of Orland, and Andrew (Elizabeth) Roth of Fort Wayne, and 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Roth in 2007; son, Michael Roth.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitations one hour prior to service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
