Billia Joann Pickett's Obituary
Billia Joann Pickett, 72, of New Haven peacefully left this world at home surrounded by loved ones on January 16, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Kentucky and made Indiana her life long home. She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Lullabelle Hughes of Michigan. She brought many many years of love to all the lives that she has touched and those that were blessed to have known her will keep her memories close.
She is survived by her children, Babie (Phil) Merrill, Patty (Jerry) Dager, and Shawn (Jessica) Pickett all of New Haven and Jeff (Diane) Ashby of Wauseon, Ohio; three brothers; two sisters; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Pickett in 2003; two brothers; and one sister.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at East Allen County Church of Christ, 3800 Minnich Road, New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Everett Confer and Pastor John Dimarzio officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the family.
