Bill Fritcha's Obituary
Bill Fritcha, 70, of New Haven, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne with his loving family by his side. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Elmer and Helen Fritcha. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Bill was the owner of Fritcha Construction Company since 1976, and a member of the New Haven Chamber of Commerce. He was inducted in the New Haven High School Hall of Fame in 2008. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane; children, Teri (Steve) Lake of Fort Wayne, Todd (Lynna) Fritcha and Troy (LeAnn) Fritcha both of New Haven; siblings, Bob (Betsy) Fritcha and Barb (Wayne) Augenstein both of Fort Wayne, and Dick (Georgie) Fritcha of Woodburn; and grandchildren, Madison, Kyle and Travis Lake, Matraca, Zach, Alaina, and Audrey Fritcha. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour before service time. The Rev. David O. Stecker officiating. Calling is also 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the church. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church, Central Lutheran School, or New Haven High School Basketball Program. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
