Beverly Jean Amstutz's Obituary
Beverly Jean Amstutz, 87, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Wilhemina "Minnie" Kitzmiller. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She retired in 1992 from Lake End Sales after 17 years. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, going to casinos, watching the birds, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Amstutz, Robin (Zach) Amstutz-Franken, James Amstutz, Kevin Amstutz, Michele Fisher, and Nicole (Richard) Baird; siblings, Mary Lou Weaver, Paul (Joan) Kitzmiller, Gene Kitzmiller, and Charlotte Tanner; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James in 2020; daughter, Christy Marie Amstutz; and twin great grandsons, James Lee and Benjamin John Price.
Funeral service is 11 am Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm, Monday, May 5, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial at IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
