It was always a welcoming sight to see Betty come out and chat whenever I was making my mowing rounds for the week. Whenever it was five minutes or an hour it was always an enjoyment. Betty you will be missed. Sincerely, Reid Yoder

Aunt Betty is going to be deeply missed. I can remember when I was young going for a day to visit her with my dad and she would aways make sure you got something to eat. Or how she would aways make sure to send me a card for my birthday and Christmas letting me know how things where going. She could aways put a smile on your face no matter what was going on. Going to miss you Aunt Betty.

Aunt Betty was always present and interested in our family and what all of the kids were doing in school and future plans. She remembered us on special occasions with cards and gifts. She was always a part of our family gatherings for the holidays, birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc. Betty was always there to help out when needed until her health would no longer permit, but even then we received cards, emails, and we spoke on the phone. She will be missed by the Simons Family. Rita James-Russell
I met Betty in 2003 when I was appointed Dean of the School of Education. Betty was a dedicated, creative and trustworthy professional with a heart of gold. Such fond memories working with her. May she rest in peace! Barry Kanpol
I ordered a Memorial Tree for Betty from the Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter. It will show as Carol J because that is my first name.
Peace!
