Betty Jane Moldthan's Obituary
Betty Jane Moldthan, 94, of Fort Wayne, died, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Neumann. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She lovingly operated both the Moldthan Daycare Nursery and Bambi Daycare Nursery for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Moody; children, William J. (Carol) Platter of Woodburn, Elizabeth J. (Bill) Hoyt of Nashville, and Edward H. Moldthan of Fort Wayne; siblings, Mearl (Jeanne) Neumann and Donna Belle Wright; 13 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edward W. Moldthan in 1996.
Memorial service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne with calling from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to service. The Rev. Dr. Larry Merino officiating. Burial is in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
