Betty Jane Arnos' Obituary
Betty Jane Arnos, 86, of New Haven, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Cleo Brager, Sr. She was an active member of Salem United Church of Christ, Fort Wayne. She was a bookkeeper for her husband's company, Robert R. Arnos Inc, for over 55 years. She was an avid Purdue fan and a 4-H leader for over ten years. She also enjoyed spending time at Lake George, playing cards, water skiing, gardening, sewing, crocheting, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Kathy) Arnos, Jr, Mark (Kathy) Arnos, Lisa (Jerry) Milner, and Jeanne (Norm) Hoffman; sister, Mary (Ronald) Peters; grandchildren, Leon (Rebecca) Milner, Meghan (Chris) Reese, Paul (LeeAnn) Hoffman, Lindsay (Bruce) Herndon, Matthew Arnos, Olivia Arnos, and Andrew Arnos; and great grandchildren, Elaina, Lilah, Eleanor, Lincoln, Benjamin, and Aubrey. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert in 2015; and siblings, Donald Brager, William Brager Jr, Barbara Miller, and Esther Smith.
Funeral service is 11 am Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
