Bernice S. Schmidt's Obituary
Bernice D. Schmidt, 91, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late George and Frieda (Zelt) Lepper. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Bernice enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Schohl and Vicky Schmidt both of Fort Wayne, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Schmidt of New Haven; and sister-in-law, Lorna Lepper of New Haven. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard Schmidt in 1981; and siblings, Edgar Lepper and Wilma Bearman.
Private services. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Arrangements by Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
