Bernadette "Bernie" M. Lake Pepe's Obituary
Bernadette “Bernie” M. Lake Pepe, 102, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Louis Catholic Besancon Church, New Haven. She retired in 1975 from General Electric after 35 years and was a member of the Elex Club.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Harold) Robison of New Haven, Joyce Smith of Evansville, Richard Lake of New Haven and Gary Lake of Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Lake in 1975 and Wilbur Pepe in 2002; son, Jack Lake; grandson, Phillip Robison; and five siblings.
Funeral service is Noon Friday, May 20, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. The Father Steve Colchin officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. Louis Besancon Academy.
