Barbara J. Raab's Obituary
Barbara J. Raab, 84, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Flossie Corville. She was a member of Blackhawk Ministries and for many years an active member of the church choir. She had been employed by Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. before retiring in 1982.
Barb is survived by her children: Michael Zurzolo, Julie (Joe) Louraine, Jamie (Dirk) Denuyl all of Ft. Wayne; sister, Mearl Neireiter of Pleasant Lake; grandchildren: Joey (Jen) Louraine, Lori (Todd) Rex, Tami Zurzolo, Chrissy (Darin) Foelber, Lindsay Resor and Barbara Resor; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Golden Years Homestead Chapel, 3136 Goeglein Rd., Ft. Wayne with calling one hour prior. Pastor Keith Moore officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E. New Haven. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Ft. Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Blackhawk Ministries.
