Barbara E. Miller's Obituary
Barbara E. Miller, 77, of New Haven, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late William and Cleo Brager, Sr. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She was employed with Ron Peter's Equipment for 15 years. She loved playing euchre with her Woodburn neighbors.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, R. Dale Miller; sons, William (Jan) Miller, Steven (Regina) Miller, and Dale (Dori) Miller all of Leo, and Thomas (Laurie) Miller of Woodburn; sisters, Esther Smith of Fort Wayne, Betty (Bob) Arnos of Woodburn, and Mary (Ronald) Peters of New Haven; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald E. Brager and William H. Brager, Jr.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Pastor Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
