Barbara A. Krauter's Obituary
Barbara A. Krauter, 88, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Gertrude (Volmerding) Zollinger. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven and Lake George Lutheran Chapel, Fremont. She was a bus driver for East Allen County Schools for 33 years. She enjoyed her time at the lake in her camper, Friday BINGO, baking and cake decorating.
She is also survived by daughters, Beckie Benitez and Melanie Krauter; brother, Richard (Terry) Zollinger; companion, Dean Krauter; grandchildren, Dario Benitez, Jessica Krauter, LaShonna (Sergio) Gomez, and Ashley Golding; and ten great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Kim and Kevin Krauter; and brothers, Jerry and Paul Zollinger.
Funeral service is 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E, New Haven with visitation two hours prior (4 to 6 pm). Preferred memorials to Lake George Chapel, Fremont. To share online condolences please visit www.harperfuneralhome.com
