As a cousin of Barbara's, my most vivid memory is of her wedding. Even though I was 11 years younger than her, I was in awe of how she looked in her hooped wedding dress. She just seemed to float across the floor during the reception. I saw her as a princess, and I wanted to look just as pretty when I got married as she did that night. May your family find peace as you enjoy heaven, your real home.
I remember Barbara when visiting her in Elwood. We would spend time in her bedroom. I thought it was really cool that our cousin had the very same vanity blonde furniture that Gloria & I had at home. I also remember her wedding gown like Julia mentioned. The only thing else I recall is WOW he (Jack) has to pick her up so they can talk. He was so tall & she was short. Barbara had the biggest SMILE. That I will remember when I think of her. She is now at home and happy. My prayers are with you with her passing.
