Barbara A. Hoyng's Obituary
Barbara A. Hoyng, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at home. Born in Philothea, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ruth Ahrns and the late Bernard Schoenlein. She was a member of St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Schoenlein of St. Henry, Ohio; children, Jeffrey (Brenda) Hoyng of Yoder, Theresa (Keith) Ehrman of Hoagland, and David (Karen) Hoyng of Abilene, Texas; sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Hoyng, Cynthia (Larry) Wenning, and Debra (Dan) Hess all of St. Henry, Ohio, and Virginia (Larry) Rammel of Greenville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hoyng; and daughter, Judith Hoyng.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church, 11337 US Hwy 27 S., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior to service. Father Thomas Lombardi officiating. Calling is also 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church.
