Allison Day Corron's Obituary
Allison Day Corron, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at home with her family by her side. She had a strong faith that carried her through life. Born in Covina, California, she attended Central College in Pella, Iowa where she met her first husband, Steve Trotter. Allison met her husband, Tom Corron, in Des Moines, Iowa where they were members of Hope Lutheran Church. They moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2010. Together they shared a love of theater, arts, and baseball. Allison enjoyed music, reading and flowers. She will be remembered as a giver. She loved caring for others and had a goal of eliminating hate. Most of all she loved being “Nonnie” to her grandchildren, and spending time with her family and many friends who will dearly miss her. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Michael Trotter of Des Moines, IA, Donald (Savanna) Trotter of Altoona, IA, David Trotter of Des Moines, IA, Matthew (Sarah) Trotter of Fort Wayne, Denise (Tony) Burrow of Cape Coral, FL, Daniel (Rachel) Corron of Ankeny, IA, Elizabeth (Jordon) Elwell of Ankeny, IA, and Emily (Ray Steger) Corron of Madison, WI; father, Dan O. (Cheri) Curtis of Phoenix, OR; brothers, Tod Curtis of Kingman, AZ, Dana (Lisa) Barbour of Denver, CO, Paul (Katy) Curtis of Seattle, WA, Kacy (Meme) Curtis of Ashland, OR, and Ryan Barbour of Kingman, AZ; sister, Dawn (David Hutchinson) Barbour of Kingman, AZ; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her mother, Meredith Barbour and her stepfather, William Barbour. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior.
