Viola Marie Anna (Werling) Bearman, 101, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. Born in New Haven on September 23, 1920, to the late John and Johanna (Pollitze) Werling. Viola became a child of God at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Viola was confirmed on May 20, 1934 and held her confirmation verse for life close to her heart - "Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be they glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." - 2 Peter 3:18. On October 17, 1942, Viola married Clarence Frederick Bearman, who preceded her in death in 1997. They were blessed by God with 55 years together and four children. She witnessed constantly to her children and grandchildren to stay close to Jesus. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, however, brings the promise of a reunion in Heaven with all who profess His saving name Jesus Our Savior. She is survived by her children, Alan (Jean) Bearman of Dallas Lake and Jennie (Thomas) Neusiis of Spring Lake, MI; daughters in law, Mary Bearman, and Jane Bearman; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death and glory by her sons, Gary and Roger Bearman. Funeral service is 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest), 9909 Wayne Trace, Fort Wayne with visitation two hours prior. Viola will be laid to rest beside her husband to await the Day of Resurrection in the cemetery of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Preferred memorials are to the church.
